When I schedule a meeting I will send you a packet of helps and ideas that will help promote the meeting. As it has been my experience that the Sunday through Wednesday revival are more desirable and better accommodates most people's schedules, resulting in excellent attendance, since most people are busiest Thursday through Saturday. I will tailor the services to suit your special needs and adapt to your schedule. I try to close the weekday evening services by 8:15. My goals are to get to the point, meet needs, hold attention, and to let the Holy Spirit do His work.
As a full-time Evangelist for over 15 year years now, I have carefully studied God’s methods in the flow of the spirit in the great revivals of the past. I have noted that only what is done in the Spirit will have eternal fruit. The test of any person's ministry is: "Does the fruit remain?" I have seen the Lord give a good harvest in a number of the churches where I have been. My desire is to have my messages flow in the power of the spirit — full of encouragement, challenge, warmth, heart, and humor.
The day of Revival is not over! The church still needs Revival and renewal. Watsonville, CA –
The church wants to
express its appreciation to you for the recent revival you held. Each service
was outstanding in its spirit and atmosphere, and glorifying of the Master. We
had prayed for three months prior to the
God’s Spirit moved in a
specific way during each service. Many people gave evidence around the altar
that God had met a need, answered prayer, or performed a divine work in their
hearts and lives. The church made a wise decision when it called you, and we
continue to reap the benefits of a memorable event.
Homedale, ID - The Spirit of the Lord was truly present during our
revival services with John David Hicks. Many people testified to being helped by
God. They included those who experienced salvation, sanctification, and a
variety of types of healing. Our sanctuary was filled every night. Our Tuesday
evening service, with people coming forward for healing as late as 10:30, will
stand as a highlight in our church for years.
The revival/seminar format lends itself to discipleship instruction as well. I
have heard numerous comments such as "I never knew that before," "My view of God
is much larger," and "Rev. Hicks helped me see the 'big picture' in a clearer
light."

Northwest Arkansas - We praise God for the work of His Spirit during our recent Zone Camp Meeting. God used your Spirit-anointed messages in powerful ways. Besides the individual spiritual and physical victories that people experienced, God did a great work in bringing unity among the churches. Many pastors received help and renewal. One of the men went to his former pastor and asked his forgiveness for the hurt he had caused the church and the pastor. God broke down bitterness that had been seething for years and brought healing and blessing.
Sheridan, OR - We had a great time at our revival meetings with John David Hicks. I was surprised at how well the people turned out to every meeting, which speaks of how they were receiving the message and how expectant they were that God would do something each night. And He did. One lady who was not even saved asked for healing, and God touched her bad eye and greatly improved her vision. She brought another unsaved friend the next night.
