To the People that provided the Bicycles for Pastors and Medical insurance for the Orphans.

Here are the pictures from Rwanda, Africa of the results of your generous gifts.  Some of you provided cash gifts for bicycles for pastors and medical insurance for 580 orphans.   Others bought cards to help the orphan children go to school.   

The District Superintendent, Simon Pierre Rwaramba, said, “Our District assembly was wonderful with reports of victory and new people coming to Christ.  But the highlight of the Assembly was the love gift of bicycles to the 43 pastors from the Christians in America.  Some of the pastors wept with joy, but they all expressed thanks and appreciation for your kindness in giving them a bicycle.  This will help them in their ministry.  The Field Director was the one who distributed the bicycles to the pastors.  He said for me to tell you that your gift and thoughtfulness was appreciated by the Christians of Rwanda.”  

I too want to thank you for your prayers and support.  It is with fond memory that I remember our time together in your church.  May the joy and peace of Christmas be your portion throughout the New Year!

Some of the children orphaned from the AIDS epidemic that we are helping through the Nazarenes in Rwanda. Our work is caring for 580 of these orphans and your generous gifts helped to provide them with an education and medical insurance.
This is a picture of the pastors with their new bicycles. Cycling is the most efficient means of transportation in that country because of the condition of the roads and the cost of maintenance of an automobile.
